The vineyards of Santo Spirito

Total viticultural area: 0.7 ha.

This is a thirty year old vineyard of Merlot, Tocai, Pinot Bianco,Chardonnay , planted on the hills of Prepotto. The rows are positioned East-West.

The area is exposed not only to the sun, but to the wind blowing from the Balkans. The clay of the soil, mixed with the ponca, gives the plants a productive balance.

Even when the maturation of the grapes is early, the peculiar ventilated climate allows us to harvest at the end of September.

In these vineyards we converted the growing system doppio capovolto to guyot.
