PENSIERO  -  Wine da Tavola Colli Orientali del Friuli

One must imagine a rich wine, concentrated, with full body. Indeed, Verduzzo Friulano expresses all of these characteristics if treated with special care. The high concentration of tannin makes it similar to a red wine, and yet it maintains its splendid, white wine characterestics. These basics, however, are not sufficient. It requires a severe climate, in fact, the severest conditions, for the mold to develop which, in turn, transforms this wine and gives it its elegant and unique aroma.

Unlike other wines of its type, it is not the high concentration of residual sugar which makes it superb, but, again, its balanced aroma.

Pensiero is a particular wine which pleases only certain palates.
